EMORA

EMORA is set within a transformative, cosmogonic landscape exploring the origins and becoming of diverse forms of life: single-celled, imaginary, human, and more-than-human alike. Movement emerges from stillness, dissolves, and reshapes, like something suspended between beginning and ending, growth and decay. A being comes into relation with its surroundings, continuously altered by the environments it encounters.

Unfolding outdoors through choreography, sound, and poetic text, EMORA creates shifting worlds of bodies, vibrations, and atmospheres that move between the intimate and the vast, the ancient and the yet-to-come. Sensory soundscapes transport the performance across imagined spaces and times, while poetic fragments trace processes of becoming, emergence, and transformation. The work inhabits the threshold between what is forming and what is dissolving. A choreography of becoming and undoing, where transformation is not an event but an ongoing state of being.
