TENDER

TENDER is an immersive and interactive performance centred around care, tactility, and vibration, creating a sensorial space for new social relations and multi-species encounters. Within a soft, organic landscape of sound, scent, touch, and movement, the boundaries between performance and installation, choreography and social dance, giving and receiving gradually begin to dissolve.

Three mother gardeners inhabit this world, engaging in rituals of care with one another and with their material and organic surroundings. Through humming voices, subtle vibrations, gestures of tending, and acts of nurturing, they move between states of giving and receiving, growth and grief, intimacy and openness. Their attention gradually extends beyond the performers, opening the space towards the temporary visitors who enter their world.

As the experience unfolds, TENDER becomes a shared sphere where care is no longer something performed for or by someone, but something experienced collectively. Human bodies encounter materials, sounds, scents, and imagined forms of other life, creating possibilities for connection across species and senses. At its core, TENDER explores care as an active practice: a way of attending to one another, tending to what surrounds us, and creating the conditions for new relationships to take root.
